jag kollar igenom en massa gammalt och blir nostalgisk och tårögd och känner mig fånig för att jag blir sentimental av saker som gjordes två-tre år sen.

"...came The Oligophrenia Manifesto, what probably most people had been waiting for during two hours. During rather informal chat the six members and their extra bass guitarist started to prepare the instruments (which took quite som time) and started off with Bipolar Gibberish. You may not notice it on their MySpace but there are actually two guitarists in the song. On stage they really rocked and a completely new dimension of disted guitars was added, a great show.

Me, and I assure you, the rest of the audience were in trance. I can't describe how well the mix of melodica, violin, rock guitars and drums and Melody's unique voice sounded. I just can't.

Oligophrenians: You rock. I heard that you were compared to Jethro Tull, what the hell? You sound no way like them, you're more fresh and creative than they ever were. The only similarity might be that you'll probably go as far as them, if not further.

Fans of good music: Listen to TOM, marvel at them and see them at Arvikafestivalen and Alternativa Politikerveckan this summer."

och och och!

"...after them The Oligophrenia Manifesto came on. The second song they played was Bipolar Gibberish. I'm not going to even try to describe their sound, instead listen for yourself: http://oligophant.se/ and be charmed by the incredible dynamic of the lead singer Melody's (who is also an old acquaintance of mine) voice. It's an utterly wonderful song; if you feel that you're getting tired of all other pop/rock music, I really suggest it. It's like breathing fresh morning air.

After about 20 seconds one of the guitarists interrupted the song and said "this is not working, I'm sorry, let's start over". I can't decide if this should be seen as good, since it show a genuine care that we in the audience hear the music as good as it gets, or if it's just unprofessional. The rest of the songs showed that they both can vary themselves and still keep their freshening sound. I was very impressed by how professional their music sounded. I very much hope that they stick together and keep working with their songs. We want more!"

ååh. jag blir alldeles mjuk i hjärtat.
